Do you need an engaging no prep ESL lesson with a game of Bingo and bonus activities for your Newcomer English Language Learners (ELLs) to get you through the end of the week?
This no prep lesson will have secondary ELLs communicating with their peers and learning about one another in this language and SEL focused lesson.
Let your students create the Bingo card content!
Your students will have a focus on the the verb "to be" in simple future tense, while sharing their interests and plans for the upcoming weekend. These sentences will be used for a game of Bingo, allowing students to learn about their peers and share a bit of their hopes, interests, and values. During this game of Bingo, ELLs will have the opportunity to connect with their peers and participate in all 4 modalities!
Students will be participating in Friday (Thursday, Wednesday, or really any day you play) Bingo, a share and listen activity, and a create your own social media post activity!
This lesson is created for newcomer/entering ELLs in middle school or high school.
